The quote "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life,” was said to us students during the career clinic by one of the speakers. He said that we can make our interests as our careers. So here are my possible careers based on my interest:

First is fashion designing. I love experimenting with different outfits and fabrics. I like to play with my style and how I match different pieces in my wardrobe. I’m very much interested in designing some clothes in the near future but fashion designing isn’t aligned with my track. I do hope to express my passion in the near future. Second choice is historian, ever since I was in elementary school. I enjoy topics concerning history. I also watch history youtube videos as a form of relaxation. I’m deeply fascinated by the way of life during the olden days. Medieval and Victorian themes are some of my most favorite niches. But nothing fuels my brain like how Philippine history does. Our country’s history is so diverse and rich, definitely worth being keen to.Third is becoming a Doctor. I don’t know what kind I'll be but I do love Science so I guess I’ll figure it out. There are a lot of fields in Science which I’m interested in such as dermatology, cosmetology, physics, microbiology to name a few. I love to groom myself and take care of my skin thus my interest in dermatology and cosmetology has been born. Maybe I’ll be the next Belo, maybe I'll build my own makeup company, life is so uncertain. I was first interested in Physics by watching the show called “The Bigbang Theory”. It was a sitcom composed of scientists as characters. I just find Physics as a cool interest. I also dream of visiting the Hadron Collider in Switzerland with my partner and studying subatomic particles. Last field in Science is microbiology. It mainly stems from my deep yearning to invent a cure or medicine that will change the world. I want to make a positive impact on the world, that’s why I’m taking Nursing though it’s not really my passion. My thinking is that whenever I see a patient of mine healed from their sickness, maybe it’ll fuel my heart and distract myself from the feeling that I'm not in the field that I want to be. Maybe the smiles of children I care for is enough to convince myself I’m actually on the path where I’m meant to be.

In conclusion, I spent an ungodly time pouring my heart out on this essay and I still don’t really know what college course I'll get. But I'll figure it out, I always do.
