Laying Down is so Overrated Anyway: Night Walks
What’s so special about it?
Don’t you get bored of staring at your ceiling when you can stare at the stars instead? Why limit your view to walls when you can gaze at buildings and inhale fresh air instead of the dusty one that comes out of your fan? Looking up at the stars can make you feel small but also part of something big.
The night sky reminds us that there’s a whole world out there. It’s a chance to feel close to nature and forget about your worries for a while. Indoors, we’re always looking at phones, computers, or TVs. Night walks let us take a break from all that. Without screens, our minds can relax. We can think clearly and feel calmer. Also, there are fewer people around, so it’s a good time to be alone with your thoughts. If you’re feeling stressed or confused, a walk can help you feel better. It’s like giving your mind a little vacation. And my personal favorite about night walks is that you can listen to some music with your headset on and pretend you’re the only person around to ever witness the beauty of the night.
So, next time it gets dark, try going outside. Leave your phone behind and take a walk. Whether you’re alone or with someone, the night has so much to offer. It’s a time to relax, think, and feel connected to the world. The night is waiting—why not give it a try?
