Two letters of the same symbol, and you would probably recognize it. As these sweet little rainbow-colored treats fill my days (and stomach), it so easily became my food addiction of the week. These cravings of mine just makes me want to eat a pack, after another, and another! BUT since this stock is very limited, I would like to use my time to give appreciation and love to this product.

The Common Knowledge

M&Ms, as most people could describe, are candy shelled and most commonly known to have a chocolate filling inside. This filling, however, varies to the M&M product. Their signature “M”s imprinted on these shells give their brand a unique look. Adding this to the colorful variety of it makes up for a product everyone would be bound to recognize, even after all these years.

T&T (Taste & Texture)

Let’s focus on the regular ones, yeah? These small pieces of sweetness, in my opinion, do not pack a big punch. It’s not overwhelming on taste nor lacking; it has that sweet chocolate taste that pinches your buds with just the right amount of flavor.

Following the taste comes its texture. As it has a shell that covers its filling, it has that small “crisp”, satisfying both the mouth and the ears. With its delicate crunch and equally delicate sound, it harmonizes well with its sweet taste.

Harmonization in Concept

As these components combine, it makes up for a small, light, short and sweet experience of flavor. Remember these are small, as this burst of quick chocolate rushes the tongue, it disappears easily, and just like that, you would need more, and more! This is how my cravings come to be! This simple concept makes eating one a dopamine-inducing experience with every little piece of M&M. 

Good thing these come in packs, you can pick it up one by one. Or actually (what I do, would not recommend) grab the whole pack and just eat a large number of it at once. That perfect flavor now doubles its amount when you taste it!

Final Thoughts

Pricey in our local Seven Eleven, yes, but we could not deny its immense flavor that satisfies our taste. I can’t help myself but to long for more as I finish a pack. Without a doubt, this would be my guilty pleasure of a sweet. A perfect gift for myself (and to me if there’s someone else willing) on a gloomy day, this delightful treat would instantly cause me joy. I’m happy to make this to give appreciation to its existence and for others to enjoy it as well. Go and try one yourselves!
